Simple Wedding Ceremony Script 8
This is a short and sweet very traditional ceremony with all the religious aspects removed from it. It's perfect for an Elopement.
Dearly Beloved, we are gathered together here in the presence of this company of witnesses to join together this couple in Marriage; which is an honorable estate, and therefore, not entered into unadvisedly or lightly, but reverently, discreetly, soberly and with joy. Into this Estate these two persons present come now to be joined.
Groom, will you have this woman to be your lawful wedded wife, to live together in the Estate of Matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others keep you only unto her as long as you both shall live?
Groom: I will
Bride, will you have this man to be your lawful wedded husband, to live together Estate of Matrimony? Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others keep you only unto him as long as you both shall live?
Bride: I will

Those whom have chosen to be joined together, let no one put asunder.

You may now kiss your bride.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I now present to you Mr And Mrs …..
