Christian Wedding Ceremony Script 5
Heavenly Father, we gather here together because you have promised that wherever 3 or more are gathered in your name, you will be in the midst of them.  We ask for your presence here, as we join Bride and Groom in marriage. We ask your blessings over this ceremony as Bride and Groom make their vows to each other.  Stand by them throughout their marriage and fill them with your perfect love so that they may grow in their love for you and for each other throughout their marriage and their lives.  In Jesus name we pray.  Amen.

In marriage, we give ourselves freely and generously into the hands of the one we love, and in doing so, each of us receives the love and trust of the other as our most precious gift.  We celebrate that you have found each other And that through each other, You have come to know the power of love. We celebrate your union of hearts, minds, bodies, and souls. And wish you great joy and a loving and happy marriage.

Marriage is the ultimate relationship because it offers the opportunity of limitless intimacy between two people. It is a great and challenging adventure into the depths and heights of human caring, Affection, trust and understanding. Today as you make your vows, your lives are intermingled.  Marriage is a journey of transformation into the profound mysteries of life and creation. In marriage, We do not give ourselves to another, But rather surrender into something greater. We surrender to love itself. Today, you step into a much fuller experience and expression of the mysteries and miracles of love. Your precious union is lovely in its innocence, Mighty in its strength, And abundant with possibilities. It belongs to you both. Over time you will give it identity. I wish for you the wisdom, strength of character, and divine creativity To make this a happy marriage, A safe harbor. And a joyful journey to share.

Vows

Do you Groom, take Bride to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?

Groom: I do

Do you Bride, take Groom to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?

Bride: I do

You wedding rings symbolize and bind your love.  Without beginning or end and with no point of weakness, the circle is a reminder of the eternal quality of God and of unending strength. Let the seamless circle of these rings become the symbol of your endless love and unending faithfulness. Wear these rings as the enclosing bond of reverence and trust. Fulfill the circle of love that now makes you one.

God, bless these rings and the two who exchange them. Fill them with
your Holy Presence. Keep them safe in the circle of Your protection and love.

As you place the rings on each other’s fingers please repeat after me:

Groom:  Bride, with this ring, I pledge my love and faithfulness to you, today, now and always.

Bride:  Groom, with this ring, I pledge my love and faithfulness to you, today, now and always.

What God has joined together, let no one put asunder.

May the two of you be blessed by God, May you be touched by angels.  May your hearts stay full, may your spirits stay connected, and may you love long and happily in one another arms.

I now pronounce you married!

You may seal this marriage with a kiss.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I now present to you Mr/Mrs...
