Bride and Groom are about to do something special to symbolize their love for each other by literally tying the knot.
Each of these ropes represent their past, and their own individual and separate lives before today. As they intertwine the ropes, they join their two lives into one, representing the present. The finished knot symbolizes their future, and how their love and marriage will continue to be strong. The fisherman’s knot is one of the strongest knots that can be tied. When the knot is completed and the ends are pulled, the knot becomes so strong that the rope will break before it comes undone. Bride and Groom, may this love knot be a reminder of the strength of your love and the binding together of your two hearts. I do not claim to be the original author of this script. I am sharing it like this to make it easier for anyone to use. Click here to go to the Tying of The Fisherman's Knot article Comments are closed.
